Equipment Rental 

No-Till Drill 

Type of Drill: The drill available for rent is a Truax Flex II Grass Drill.
Specifications: The drill is 8 feet wide (outside tires), has 8 planting rows, 8" spacing. Plants 5.3 feet per pass. Plants seed 1/2" deep. 
Purpose: Drill must go to those planting Warm-Season Fluffy Grass Seeds. Cool-Season Seeds/Food/ Food Plots/ Alfalfa/ Clover Seeds can also be planted. 
Seedbed Preparation: The drill works best on dry, untilled soil. it does not work on fields that have already been tilled. 
Mechanical Requirements: Your tractor must have a minimum of 35 hp and dual action hydraulics.
Cost: The rental costs a minimum charge of $125.00 for ten acres or less and the sum of $6.00 per additional acre seeded above ten acres. The renter shall pay a deposit of 50% of the estimated rental charges prior to pick up or delivery of the drill. Upon return and inspection of the drill, if there are no repairs needed, the deposit will be applied to the total cost.

 Uprooter

 Purpose: The Uprooter works as a lever to remove invasive shrubs like glossy buckthorn, honey suckle, autumn olive and russian olive out of the ground. 
Cost: The rental costs $18 for a 5 day period. 

Both the Mecosta and Osceola-Lake Conservation District have an Uprooter available for rent.
